Nothing unexpected for Day 1. 4 hitting signees in top 52 and Wiggins goes #68 after missing the year with TJ.

I still wish they would add another big bat from the transfer portal somehow. We need better offense.

Gabe Gaeckle will make it to campus. He has a lot of swing and miss type stuff and will likely be a BP/mid week type of guy to start.

Nice, he passes the eye test for sure. PG profile says he hit 97 last summer and has a filthy curveball to go along with it.

He really struggled the 2nd half of last season. He can't hit oppo and always was in the front of the batters box to pull everything.

In season results don't really mean too much though. Hence the projections still being so high.

'23 signee LHP Tucker Holland has withdrawn from the draft. In most years, we would all be praising this as he has good stuff, but just not as highly rated as some of the others.

Could be some medical with Jace after he hurt himself a couple times.
Toward the end of the season he only had hit one HR at Vandy and DVH was blunt in a presser about he needed to get it going after not doing much for a few weeks.

Probably the prior injuries and this being his only full complete season out of his 3 college years.
