I am ok with it. I see how it could easily blow up in our face but I also see how it could get us back to being solid. Not lighting the world on fire but solid

I was not at first but now I’m all in but that would have happened with any coach. If he puts together a good staff, I think it will turn out to be a solid hire.

other than maybe he left Arkansas for the same position at UGA - wonder how he's going to convince his own staff members to stay when he wouldn't?)

Well he only left because Bert was a drunk piece of shite and that’s well known in the college coaching world so this is a non-issue.

If the program was in a better place I wouldn't mind it as much but I truly believe we needed an adrenaline shot.

Was Kiffin risky, yes, but we need that lightning rod that can come in recruit and coach at the highest level when motivated. We need eyes on the program good or bad.

This is in no way a knock on SP. A lot will depend on the OC and DC. An issue I fear is not having an offense that can play catch up if we fall behind and a D that struggles with spread offensives. Normally power teams have defenses that match their style. However, everyone is running wide open offenses now, even Bama.

He’s a low ceiling low floor type hire which is probably what we need.
