He runs a fricking 5.6 40. If you’re just gonna hand out walk on spots then there are at least 300 more talented players in the state of Arkansas alone that want to be hogs just as bad as he does.

Remember the kid on the west coast who had the signing day hat pick and it all turned out to be fake, he claimed to have been tricked, etc.
The school he picked didn't just hand him a walk-on spot and let him show them what he got.

Billy Sonnier was a player who did the social media claim of offers last year.
Terry Lambert was a walk-on type guy last year. He's the one that announced he was entering the transfer portal when Morris got fired and he wasn't even on the team. Players called him out on twitter.
Where JO attention started after he posted on twitter many, many times about Arkansas.

My son is a junior in Fayetteville. He’s 6’2, about 210, and ran about a 4.8 in high school. Can we get a schollie? UA is taking all my money!

My little cousin just picked up a PWO from Pittman on Sunday. Kevin Compton out of Watson Chapel. Could play WR or DB. Needs to gain some weight at 6’2 170. His step brother is Tink Hence

The fans who think that "luvin the helmut" and being from Arkansas (unless it's NWA) is enough to be a head coach or earn a spot on the team. The same fans who bitch about the Allens and don't think they deserved to be given a scholarship but they want to give this no star -no offer running back (?) a chance.
But remember Brandon Burlsworth!!!!! Burlsworth was under recruited and under scouted but he had some offers from lower level programs. He also had the grades to get admitted and he was a pretty big hoss for those days. The one thing the movies got wrong about Bulsworth was the fatness - he was big and needed some work but he wasn't sloppy like this mfer:

Yeah...heck of a center fielder but not sure of his stick. Has had some talks with Tenner on that front.

Not gonna lie I thought this was him initially. But it's not. LINK
This is him. Dude doesn't have a scout or 247 page for the 2020 class. Does have a rivals page but it has 0 offers and 0 interests and that's pretty self-explanatory lmao. Looked at his highlight film and he is slow as molasses but he looks legitamitely pretty big. Probably could've tried to play CC or D1-AA/D2 ball if he was willing to try a new position and didn't have this whole weird twitter thing and I'm assuming other personality issues that's keeping some low level school from offering him at least a walk on spot.
