What the hell is that???? That is NOT a Razorback!!!!
Who the hell keeps screwing around with the fricking logo?!?!
I really wish people would just leave everything the hell alone. We have one of the greatest mascots/logos in college sports, if not THE best. I don't understand all of this "secondary logo" bs. I realize other schools do it, but they all have commonn mascots/logos. They HAVE to do something different. I mean, how many damn Tigers are there? A LOT. Those schools must do something to differentiate themselves from all of the other schools with the same thing. We do not. You don't see Alabama changing their "crimson" every other year, or wearing ridiculous looking unis, and they damn sure won't have "Dumbo" as one of their logos.
Our traditional Razorback is badass & tough. This cartoon caricature shite is not.

due to my approximate location, I've had to endure the hog logo for the better part of a century and some of these new etch a sketch drawings make me "want to work up something, as well"..

Yep. And apparently, I'm not the only one. Our logo/mascot has consistently been ranked in the top 20 over the years by national sports magazines, sports websites, & sports blogs.
It's my opinion. I have one just like everyone else. What's the big deal? Why does it bother you?

if there's going to be a secondary logo, it hasn't been released yet. So we don't know for sure what it will look like, if we get one

There is going to be a secondary logo and it's really not that big of a deal. We've had numerous secondary logo's over the years and as you can see it's not like they we're ever slapped on any of the actual uniforms. About the only place you would see a secondary logo on the football uniform would be on the collar where they currently have the Razorback Shield.
It's just another tool for the AD to sell things. They're in the business of making money and this will give them an additional outlet for potential merchandise sales.

Out of the gazillions of razorback items I have, I don't think I own anything that's not "traditional" or a close variation. The only thing different I have are a couple of shirts with the "mean eyes" on them.
And you're right, it's up to the fans as to what they buy & wear. I prefer that they not veer too far away from the traditional logo. That's just my opinion.

Previous incarnations of the Hog had limp hooves. The logo we started using in 2001 has a straight hoof. Much more masculine.
