Is Cade just a more on target slant pass guy? Because Hornsby seems to throw it decent deep.

Spot on. This ain’t the NFL. If you’re an elite runner, you don’t need to be Aaron Rodgers. Matt Jones had an average arm at best

I can’t figure out why state isn’t respecting the qb run on the zone read when Fortin is in the game.

Cade isn’t anything. He couldn’t even get the starter job on a 2-8 team. Malik is the 2nd team QB and it’s likely Why we don’t trot him out there 20 plays a game and risk injury.
Malik 63 yds rushing and 3/4 112 yds
Fortin -9 and 2/8 8 yds
