Nah, I can think for myself without the aide of AI. I see a .820 win percentage his first stint and .654 his second (and that includes the abysmal last season, which was right after he lost his dad) for an overall win percentage of .735. Is he to blame that when he left us and them that the people in charge tagged complete idiots to take over in his absence? Hell, other than the 2018 season, they had seasons every year that we can only dream of these days. We can agree to disagree, but IMO he did not single handedly wreck any program.

Obviously, we didn't keep him but I think a lot of people's points are that, if we were going to bargain shop, we should've just gave Bobby a honest chance instead of the route we took.

Here is my deal with Petrino....
1. He has a winning record everywhere he has coached, other than maybe... Mizzou State? Didn't look.
2. He wants this job, still.... and Fletcher would help with the program more.
3. His personality will grate on you like sandpaper on a open wound when you work for him, or deal with him daily. Although he has softened some as a G-pa
4. He wasn't truly given a chance, his offense was good enought (Compare our past few years please, and shut up... Dayumm) the defense left him was atrocious, as was the assistants that were not his, that fought his every move. He was not truly given an opportunity.
5. Give him a true NIL and let him cook. I think we would be back in the playoff (was bcs) within 4 years... JMHO of course
6. Hire Kevin Scanlon ?spelling as AD, to work with him and the donors.
7. SHUT UP... one more time, if you are against it. Because we have ran through mediocrity like pigs through chit for years now.... No pun intended

I agree with all of this. A large portion of folks that are/were against him hold grudges against him as a person and it has little to nothing to do with his coaching abilities. I don't care if our coach is a choir boy or the biggest arse on the planet as long as they win games.

Oh no Rev, you've done it now. I've been blasted 40 different ways for saying CBP was our best option this last go around.

And God will need to help us if they were to hire the bumbling idiot Nutt as AD

He may well have been our best option. How sad is that?

He can’t hire a decent assistant coach, has serious trouble recruiting and the SEC office hates him enough that the refs are most certainly hunting calls against him.

And that’s our best option.
