Also just the eyeball test. LSU pretty much always has bigger and faster players than us, especially on defense.

Anyone who doesnt understand this is a moron.

so after John L Smith and Bielema and Chad Morris, you think our current roster is behind Temple and Pitt and Miami?

And Penn State?

and South Carolina?

our roster in 2022 must not be up to snuff because LSU has a bunch of NFL guys from 2014 and 2019

HRV,

You been taking some pulls off the whiskey bottle? You're pretty hostile, although I enjoy it.

Those three schools do indeed have more talent than us, but talent alone does not determine every game.

You say "soyboy sportswriters" like they're the only ones who have a say in this. Do you think it's a coincidence Saban's classes are full of five stars? Hmm?

LSU has had more draft picks than us because they're in a hotbed of talent and have better history than us. And yes, they will have more players drafted off of their current team than we will. This is not complicated, it's just how college sports work.

Ah yes. Pointing out, with proof, that LSU has more nfl players on its roster (aka more talent) year-in and year-out than Arkansas.

What a sizzling take...

Texas didn't have a player drafted this year. They are soft, Texas fans are soft and so is the culture in Austin.

The Aggies only had four players drafted as opposed to three players for Arkansas. They looked evenly talented to me.

Penn State had seven players drafted but a large percentage opted out of the bowl. If they are more talented then the gap isn't that big.

we beat all three of them last year

they have more talent than us? According to who? You. Just say it's according to you. Admit it.

I wonder why Doug McMillan is the Walmart CEO? He only has a BA from Arkansas and an MBA from Tulsa. How come Walmart doesn't have a Yale guy with a Harvard MBA and a PhD from Princeton? I wonder why that is? And does Doug make more money than a PhD from Princeton? Hmm. I wonder.

Sabans? Website guys made them "5 stars" because Saban wanted them and made them first tier offers. Website guys have gullible fans like you fooled into thinking they are "recruiting gurus"

how many linebackers from 1-AA and bad G5's made the NFL this year while Grant Morgan did not?

who would you have rather had playing linebacker last year?

Careful dchog. Those facts don't support the cumulative total theory of LSU demigods running into the NFL while John L and Bret and Chaggot were destroying our program.

LSU had 9 guys go NFL in 2013, so according to Jack's model, that makes our 2022 roster suspect

Jack is a pessimistic whiner and always has been. He'll be whining about Kendal Briles within a matter of two weeks.

Let's see. LSU had 14 guys drafted off that 2019 team, at the same time Chaggot was torching our program.

Oh, so that must mean our 2022 roster is devoid of talent. We're worse than Temple! (/s) Dipshit Manny Diaz would have killed our asses last year! (s/) Miss State is more talented than us! (s/)

Just reviewed an analytics model that I subscribe to.

Model accounts for coaching staffs

how does the "model account for coaching staffs"? Anyone's view of a coaching staff is a subjective opinion. Many people end up being correct. Many people end up being wrong. Is Jimbo finally going to prove something at Aggy, or fall flat on his face. No one knows that this point.

Nor does your "model." It's subjective opinion.

I'm pretty sure you and I agree alot more on general politics. Are you subscribing then to a computer "model of intelligence" to tell you what your opinions should be?

I think people get caught in how many players drafted determine talent level but that isn't completely true. You have some really good ball players like Grant Morgan, Hayden Henry that aren't NFL prospects but do very well at the college level. Arkansas had a lot of those type of players last year and you can beat more talented teams with experience, discipline and better coaching.
