Big weekend in Norman for softball.
SEC really sucks at scheduling. Hogs schedule includes @ #4 Alabama, @ #1 OU, and @ #5 Texas.

Game 1 - Oklahoma wins 8-7
Game 2 - Arkansas gets their first win over OU in 17 years 3-2. Burnham and Herrin shut the sooner bats down tonight. Was a thing if beauty.
Rubber match tomorrow.

Broke OU’s 31 game home win streak.
OU came out pissed off today and is destroying us but Winning a series in Norman is near impossible.
They have a decent shot for the WCWS if they can get the monkey of their back in regionals this year.

I’m gonna be so intrigued to see how this postseason plays out. For so long it’s been Oklahoma and everybody else playing for 2nd place (I understand NiJaree and TT got them last year). But this year it feels super competitive all right at the top 10 or so.

This team CAN win it all. Will they? Probably not. But this is the first time since Diefel (sans maybe the 2022 team) got here that it is a possibility.
Of course, just getting to OKC will be nice.
