To put it another way, if the non-con remained in tact, we would be looking at a season finishing with 7-9 wins at this point. Remember we were fricked hard with the sec only schedule, not only providing "cupcake" cannon fodder for the normal west contenders, but the sec felt the east contenders all needed in on that action while giving most of them byes before playing Arkansas.
So what we've seen for sure is this team isn't a top ten team, bit they can be competitive for most of the game against top ten teams in the league. I don't think anyone would have been upset with 6+ wins total aster the past 3 seasons. Had their been a spring and non-con games to open the season, the record would likely be different at this point as the offense is just now starting to click. Amazing it doesn't take 3 years and a favorite son for an offense to start putting points on the board.

I'm sure the oline would rather take their chance at being paid next year.
Not sure how mind projects to the next level, if at all. I don't personally see it, bit all it takes is a team who does.

At the beginning of this year, who would take 2 wins and be happy? how bout 3? 4? and now you say 5/5... with a bowl game to boot?
I was steeling myself for the first winless season in program history.
After 2 SEC wins (should be 3) in 5 games, we're playing with house money at this point.
