Not worried. Musselman does an excellent job gameplanning for each opponent. The other night they knew exactly what they needed to do to get the W even considering the matchup disadvantages they had. Almost had it too.

I think they'll learn from that loss. We aren't ever going to get a bunch of offensive boards, but we gotta get a couple anyways. If we had had just a handful the other night we would have won that game.

To their advantage in this sense, the team as whole were out of position to block out due to help defense and rotation via their guards bull rushing their way in to the lane.

To stop this you would have to either play a zone or focus on packing the lane which would lead to wide open threes, Muss has chosen to focus on guarding the three/ perimeter with this roster, the LSU game was a display of the downside to this strategy. There is always pluses and minuses to every defense.

Well, if you had told me that we'd be 12-2 at this point and bickering over philosophy of offensive rebounding, I guess I would have been very happy a couple of months ago.
We knew we were going to be small and would struggle in some aspects. Muss is doing a hell of a job with what he's got, and I don't mean that as a slight to iJoe, Jones et. all. We just don't have any size at the 4/5.

This isn't why LSU was able to get so many offensive rebounds.

Their guard penetration was why Arkansas was out of position not only to defend but also rebound defensively.

So if you have this in mind and look at the teams left on the schedule, who outside is able to try to win a game against Arkansas using this strategy? Kentucky and Auburn, although I believe Auburn will do what they do not penetrate and rely on getting misses.

Not bickering. Size is coming from Northside High, but he isn't a block to block play who is going to battle in the lane all game long. Future help is there as well as Joe's lil bro is a pretty good guard as well.
