Meh, he made a few really good defensive plays but still finished 0-3 with a K at the plate, and (as someone put above) the one time he reached base was due to an error on an otherwise textbook GIDP ball.
His BA is down to .183 now. His current stat line for SEC games is 3-32 with 14 strikeouts, and he's 1 for his last 23 in SEC games.
His defense, which has been statistically the weakest on the team, isn’t worth the automatic out he is in the lineup, especially coming right after Rowland.

Wegner was an interesting interesting defensive sub late in the game last night.
Will be interesting to see if it was a trial run and he breaks back into the lineup tonight.

Again, this is simply not true, at least offensively.
Turner was our best hitter all season last year, and for most of the season was our only everyday lineup player over .300.
