The silver lining is that Foutch isn't a complete trainwreck. I think he's earned himself more usage going forward.

It pissed that ump off so much to overturn that.

Stupid call in the first place. It was so obvious it hit him.

It is interesting that they don’t trot Morris out there anymore even with the game decided.

I’m gonna go 0-2 if Braves can’t pull it out of heir arse in the 9th.

In regards to Arkansas…Is it me or does it always seem like in DH’s when we scorch the ball in game 1, we suck in game 2? Not just this year, but annually?

Hopefully McEntire can give us 6-7 tomorrow because we will need it. Damn sure don’t need to lose this series.

I'm not bullish on Mac at all this year. He just doesn't seem to have it.

And for the love of God, can we please stop playing Bolton?

I've said this before and I'll say it again -- Rowland has to play because Polk is even worse, but there's no excuse to have a lineup with 2 automatic outs in it. Bolton isn't good on defense, so he doesn't have that redeeming quality to make up for nonexistent production at plate. Hell, at least Cali can get ahold of one every once in awhile and give it a ride, Bolton can't get it out of the infield.

I just do not get it.

I mean we tried giving Coll a shot last Sunday and he had 2 terrible errors too. No one else can really play there. Sprinkle signing really screwed us there

Haven’t been able to keep up with things as closely this weekend - has there been any kind of official update on McEntire? Do we know if he’s available today?

DVH said he'll probably be ready to go today.

That being said, he hasn't shown me much this season.

DVH? Or McEntire?

I say both

DVH's decision making to not run rule in Game 1 and continuing to play Bolton without trying other options even if it is Coll and other decisions have left me quite pissed off and scratching my head.

DVH comments on why he ran Carter out there up 9 runs, "one game at a time man".

Yeah that's a horrible approach given the pitching situation. You'd think a little bit of forethought would be in order.

I was legit mad about that. Why burn Carter with a 9 run lead in a short weekend?

That single decision ended up costing us game 2, since we had to call on Adcock instead of Carter to relieve Hagen, and Adcock ended up imploding.

According to DVH only scoring 1 in the second inning probably cost us the game.
Since Nate Thompson has been here we've consistently left ducks on the pond.

He's not totally wrong, but that traces back to another DVH decision, which was to start Bolton.

We had the bases juiced with 1 out when we hit the Rowland-Bolton duo in our lineup. As expected, OM's pitcher made short work of both.

As I've said ad nauseum, Rowland has to play because Polk is somehow a worse defensive catcher and the worst hitter on the roster, so it doesn't make sense to write off another spot in the lineup by starting Bolton.

I don't care if it's Jones, Coll, Holt, or something crazy with Stovall, we've got to fix the shortstop position.

Josenberger, Stovall, and Wegner all go down swinging in the top of the 1st.

Great start at the plate.

Wegner had a meat pitch that he watched go by on the 1-0
