Look, this team is flawed, mostly bc of injuries but Joseph Pinion at this point isn’t a difference maker. I think he’ll end up a fine player but he isn’t close to being a game changer, no slight to him, he’s young. He’s not the difference between failure and success of this season.

I don't disagree with anything you said. He's a role player at best. It just so happens to be a role that's vacant on this team. It's simply about having the puzzle pieces available to be a good basketball team. A guy to come off the bench and stand in the corner to bury kickout 3s is a role we desperately need filled. It could be literally anyone, but Pinion seems best suited to the role out of what we have to choose from.
His potential impact can be debated, but I don't think there's any contention in the opinion that the emergence of a knockdown shooter would be one of the best boons this offense could get this year.
Either way I think it's an exercise in futility. Just don't see this team being able to put it all together for March.

Lat, while it's true that Drewbie is a pearl clutching karen and Stone is a basement dwelling, big 12 loving racist remember that they are young men still trying to prove themselves in the world.
They still melt pretty bad with each small setback and it's easy for them to try to hard and get aggressive instead of just shooting the shite about the ball team. Best to give them a pat on the head and let them feel like they have won every once in a while.

Joseph Pinion is the Malik Hornsby of the basketball program apparently.

I missed the game last night. Is he getting minutes again?

Nah.
NSJ isn't either. Muss is now managing his knee for him.

Muss certainly seems to be taking lessons from the football program on roster management this season.
Quite profound.

NSJ coming back happened about as late as it could for us to have any chance at gelling again before the tourney. I'm not surprised we have struggled the last couple of games. Will be impressed if Muss can get them together enough to make a run.

Do not turn the womens game on. Woof.

Right because when Malik got his big opportunity he tore it up right? There’s a reason coaches don’t want to play them as much as fans want them to.
That’s my point.
