some of the players just knowing NS was back, caused this tonight.

Not blaming NS, but you could tell the chemistry was way off and Devo needs to grow up period.

Whelp! hey folks NS is back!

Devo will continue to be a bitch as long as Nick is in the lineup it seems.

It's amazing he is so petulant as a "team leader"

25 points at half is a disgrace.then state jumped out to a 9-2 run to start the 2nd half.

You know when you are bad when State gives you the red arse at home.

To make things worse, Arkansas was the only lone SEC win for LSU.

Such a classic Arkansas thing for the year to happen this way. Fool me once.

Final chapter will be Muss to Austin or Lexington in the off season.

Weird comparison when he beat a ranked team today and we lost to a team scoring 60 points a game.

My comparison to MA was Muss didn't have his team prepared tonight.
Too many games that Mike coached his teams shot like shite from outside.

How in tf can so many highly rated kids not have a legit outside shot?

One is injured. One has been injured and wasn’t getting the ball passed to him most of the game and the other one was sitting on the bench.

Muss had a lazy and stubborn game plan last night against a pretty hot team with bodies to clog the lane.

It’s like he assumed we would shoot the way we did against Kentucky despite the averages and analytics saying the exact opposite.

Yesterday was on Muss big time and mainly for allowing Devo to kill the game, over and over.

Yeah NSJ coming back might cost us a couple of games until everyone is used to playing together and he's knocked some rust off.

I still think it's the only way we make a deep run in the tournament. I know we looked good without him @Kentucky, but they are just not really that good. And the game before that we almost lost to the worst team in the conference.

Nick was too amped but that will go away with playing time.

Devo played hard but yeah his body language was bad at times. It makes way more sense that it was because he was in the middle of maybe the worst game of his career - but I guess it's more Hollywood friendly to say he's jealous of NSJ.

Not a lot of rebounding or size in there.

Think you need Devo or Council coming off the bench with either the other Mitchell or Walsh starting. Even though Walsh apparently forgot how to rebound.

Which Mitchell? It’s confusing since they have the same last name.

AB
Nick
Devo
Council
Makhel

Makhi replacing Council if we are playing a bigger team

Walsh a hearty amount of minutes off the bench.

Stat of note from last night: Nick was +3 in 17 minutes last night. One of 2 hogs with a positive +/-

I predicted we would look out of sync. We looked a bit more out of sync than I thought. We have the talent to beat any team in the country but the teams needs a come to Jesus moment.

Council regularly plays much worse and way more lazy than Devo but Devo gets all the fan scrutiny

Eh. Don’t totally disagree with this but his ability to get to the rim and foul line is pretty crucial.

His defense does usually drive me crazy. Big time sell out defender that falls asleep/takes plays off.

Yeah I’m not saying he doesn’t bring anything to the table. But his effort is terrible at times
