You can thank Jeff Long for us being stuck with Bielema until 2020. 25-25 as a head coach is unacceptable in the SEC.
Apparently winning games doesn't mean anything to this program's leadership.

Hell Nutt 2.0 is too polite at this point. Nutt went nearly .500 in the SEC over a decade.

Who knew $4.25 million could buy you such mediocricy. Hell I would be able to coach this team for $100k/year and still be able to get the same results.

He's not going to get it done here. The buyout is a small cost compared to what keeping him around for that long could do. 8 wins per year and getting blown out by every SEC West rival will drain excitement from the program.
