Felt the same thing about GM. If it were me, i'd stay at WSU and wouldn't be motivated to just take any job, but I also wouldn't be a good candidate for a premier D1 coaching job.

I would imagine that Tech can come up with some grip. They have cattle money down there. Cattle capital of the world is 3 hours down the road and there ain't shite else. I would imagine they have a few ultra wealthy booster types.

One thing everybody forgets it’s not just Beards money but also what we can provide for assistants, recruiting, and other needs. We can outspend Tech. He will only turn us down if he loves Tech and being close to his girls.

Late to the party, but I'm about to do some hardcore trolling of HiV for some entertainment... any ideas?
I have a handy account with lots of posts from years' past, and have been mysterious enough in those previous years to juuuust be believable.
I'm thinking a new push for Alford would set the place ablaze pretty well?

He's going to have to understand the investment we are making. If we pay his buyout we have to lock him up with a buyout on our end.
We can't pay that buyout then have Texas take him away next year for free. We would at least have to recoup the buyout we paid.

I feel like we can do better than Uber, maybe real estate agent? But a new coach wouldn't be looking into housing THIS quickly, although the Hogtards aren't the brightest bunch.
