The Nevada sports writer is literally passing off the flightaware thing as we’re going after Richard Pitino.. is this all it takes to be qualified to be a writer? Does he not realize how many coaches are in Minneapolis this week?

Wishful thinking more likely.

Things are quiet today.

Tomorrow the storm arrives.

This New Mexico dude on Twitter is a troll. Passing off the flighaware thing as “private plane records” saying he has some secret source.

He also is saying Bill Self is going to the Spurs.. so yeah

isn't it a little suspicious that on Monday a plane took off from Springdale, AR, went to Iowa City, IA, then on to Minneapolis, MN, then to Reno, NV, then to Van Nuy, CA, then returned to Springdale last night? This isn't some photo shop job. I can link you to the planes history as well.

LINK

I mean who the heck flys all of that without having a purpose. THey were on the ground for only a few hours so whatever was going on happened within the airport or close to it.

There maybe something to it, but people are assuming on candidates, Iowa one is weird sure but Van Nuys and Minneapolis could literally be anyone.

And it’s very rare for a AD to use a plane for a search that is that easily traceable and it’s a stretch to think HY is flying to see all of these coaches in one day.

Sounds like HY is doing his due diligence, there’s really no rush. We’re not really competing with anyone for a coach, maybe UCLA and Vandy but that’s about it right?

Doesn’t take long to say “thanks, but no thanks.”
Classy to do it in person, though.

Read an article the other day describing how a normal process works.

1. Contact with Agent
2. Airport interview, normally quick get to know one another and see if there is a fit. Normally conducted somewhere private around the airport.
3. Settle on one candidate and conduct a much longer interview.
4. Hire.

We just finished step #2

It’s so cheap to say “one of the two”. Whether he gets hired or not she can claim she was right, and in reality he wasn’t in the top 50 choices.

I truly think EM is the next coach. When you look at the supposed 4 he is the one who fits the best.

I sure hope it’s Musselman if those are the four in contention.

I sure as hell hope so hes a home run. If it's any of the other three mentioned HY needs to be fired.
