I thought you were confused about the Marshall statement.

Ah... I thought he stated "the two richest people in the world" anyway... Do the Koch brothers give a shite about basketball?

A source with ties to the University of Arkansas athletic department tells Arkansas Money & Politics that Houston’s Kelvin Sampson will be the next UA men’s basketball coach. The University has not yet responded to requests for confirmation.
Arkansas Athletic Director Hunter Yurachek worked with Sampson during his time as AD at Houston. Houston reportedly offered Sampson a multi-year extension worth $3 million a year earlier this week. Any offer from the University of Arkansas is expected to exceed that, which would put it close to the annual salary of UA head football coach Chad Morris.

Sampson has a 60-12 record at Houston over the last two season, going 33-4 this year while making a NCAA run to the Sweet 16. Sampson has also coached at Washington State (1988-1994), Oklahoma (1994-2006) and Indiana (2006-2008). He joined Houston in 2014.

For me it’s really Sampson, Marshall.
I was just about to mention Marshall. If Beard and Sampson say no, then throw 4 mill+ at him. The guy is an elite coach. I'd honestly rather have him over Sampson.

All the money in the world could not get me to live in a small town like Arkansas (yes, I know Arkansas is sort of a State).

im not down to give it to him if his dad leaves to a “bigger school”…they will have the same ideologies …if sampson is really looking for a better job and doesnt think of houston as a destination, kellen almost certain to have the same ideologies…after he proves himself…he’ll be gone in 3 years…win or lose

I’m not ok with Kelvin leaving for a non-blue blood like Arky after what WE’VE done to resurrect his head coaching career and then reward him by hiring his son. I’m a huge Kellen fan but nope. And if that causes transfers so be it.

Fake news.
ESPN would have reported the rumor, but there isn’t anything on their site.
Nothing on Yahoo Sports.
Yes because ESPN reports every rumor

Same shite they've been saying, they all think Houston is the premiere city in the USA for some insane reason.
They also don't understand that in college, location doesn't really matter much. Nick Saban doesn't care that he is in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. John Calipari doesn't care that he is in Lexington, Kentucky.

Harrison Times reporting it as well. Wouldn’t expect such a well known and respected publication to go out on a limb and report it if it wasn’t so.
