Well its a pipe dream but not because of that last part. Cal is paid over 9M with benefits, no way we get close to that.

Watching Tech now after thawing out from baseball game...

Sampson did say it would all be resolved shortly after he was questioned last night about it. Makes it sound like he already knew what he was doing before last night.

Eh, kind of meh to me compared to some of the other names that are rumored but not a bad coach by any means. He had Pittsburgh really consistently making the field every year and a couple of S16/1 E8. Could do much worse though.
Are there rumors of him moving? He is home and I could see him staying there until he is done with coaching.

Meh...was told his name today by someone...told them he is TCU alum, they said may not matter. I said bullshite...give me Kelvin or give me death.
They laughed and asked if I had made out my will...I said of course, but you’re not getting any of our production wells.
After that they asked if I had tried the new BBQ trailer over on the 1st base line. I said no and went downstairs and got them. Note to you all: those are legit even with the kettle looking chips. I was hesitant when they handed them to me. Better than the pulled pork nachos on 3rd base concourse.

It can get annoying but part of me loves this part of the coaching search. Someone was telling me that the deal was already done but it isn't Sampson.
I know some have real connections but most people just grab 1% of something and extrapolate it to 100% on a prediction.

These folks know real connected people but I didn’t take them seriously, so none of you should take my question very seriously. I was curious what the overall thought was.
Beard isn’t leaving Tech. Today proved that he can do whatever he wants as a coach, right in Lubbock with his girls close by to watch.
I am also not a big fan of Buzz. I know some are here, but he sure has a lot of double digit loss seasons and to me it seemed like he took the VaTech job to avoid being run off from Marquette.
