From what I've gathered from Twitter, it's looking like there's a good chance we get a commit from TQ Jackson today. According to a Rivals writer, we're supposed to get good news this week and TQ is making a 'major' announcement a bit later today.

You seem to be in the recruiting know so I'll ask yor opinion on this but to me it seems like chad has a better idea of what he wants in his system and is recruiting the players he wants instead of just going after stars the way bielema did. Do you get that vibe at all?

I would say he is chasing stars just as much, but it is very obvious he has a certain look, and size in mind for his entire team.
He clearly is taking on big receivers right now for the outside. Next year he is looking for an insanely speedy quick slot reciever.
From all indications he wants huge guards, and 6-6 athletic tackles on the o line (probably because we will be run blocking even on pass plays due to the rpo rules)
He clearly is looking for athletic QB's who can move the chain with thier feet.
DE's are the exact opposite of what fat man looked for. Bert recruited 275 DE's. Our DE's are long, lean kids at like 230. Pure pass rushers. We are recruiting big in the middle of the D line.
In the secondary he wants SIZE AND SPEED.
It almost feels like size is the first point of emphasis if you look at our offers. All of our CB's are 6'0-6'1. Safeties are 6'2 and big bodied. Bert wanted the same thing, but for some reason could only get Santos (if you remember one of chad's first spring pressers he mentioned Santos stood out to him, and said he had to be one of the best in the sec/country. It is obvious now that he was one of the guys who matched his player profile to a T)

this reminds me more of petrino recruiting. go after stars with the right size and speed.
if that fails to after size and speed. dont every fail to take players and always have backups because anyone is better than no one on the depth chart at times.
be prepared to process those kids for better players later though if they dont work

The recruiting folks are saying we’ll get another commit this week. Danny says he already has the article written but obviously won’t say who because he doesn’t want to ruin the moment for the kid.

Bobby Wolfe tomorrow but it’s probably not him. Crystal Ball picks have been put in today for Zach Williams and Gregory Brooks by folks with ties to the program, Danny included, so it could potentially be one of them.

It really needs to be Zach Williams. Not that it matters, but I'll lay off Morris and his questionable recruiting if it's Zach Williams. It will be nice and important for some of the instate dominoes to drop in Arkansas' favor.

I thought it was odd but Danny put the flip pick in today. He specifically said he wouldn’t give the kid away though so I can’t imagine he’s being that obvious with it.

Danny before the commitment had Arkansas then flipped to State when it was apparent he was committing to them now flips back.

Danny’s saying good news is expected soon and one of the coaches put out a tweet that seems to indicate a commit.
