As much as Grant Morgan has played also figure he’s taking someone’s scholarship that transfers out.

Pretty sure some had to transfer out to make room for players signed last month...

Yes, but more will be leaving. If Morgan is in position to play with this group as much as he did previously he’ll be on scholarship in short order.

So more could have been signed last year.

Sure, but you are saying Bert did a better job of getting kids to walk on than Chad was able to do by offering them a scholarship this past recruiting cycle.

No, I’m saying if Grant Morgan is in the two deep he’ll be on scholarship. No more, no less.

We have a lot of third or fourth string guys that will make room for the ones we over-signed in Feb.

I can think of a few we signed that need to move on.

Boeteng. That Dalton kid or whatever who plays DB who does nothing but special teams. Probably another lb I can't think of atm. Those are guys that should move on. Kofi is someone I was never impressed with at all. I also wish Deon Stewart would take his talents to A state where he belongs.

Kelley, who started four games last season as a redshirt freshman is a little bit lighter than this time last year at around 260 pounds. It’s a noticeable difference.

Whaley appeared slimmed down from where he was last season. He’s listed at 215 pounds on the new roster.

Cornelius is in a green noncontact jersey right now after missed most of last season with an Achilles injury. He looks really good, though. His weight is listed at 207 pounds, which is as light as he’s been in a while. It looks like he’s benefitting a lot from it.

Agim looks outstanding. There was some question as to whether he’d be at end or tackle in the shift back to a four-man front. It’s very clear he’s going to play end. He’s down to about ten pounds to 280 and looks great.

diet by Trumain going to work. Tru diet

can't wait to see the difference on the field

He's a high school coach. I try not to hold it against him. Maybe it works and if it doesn't, we're arguing about Gus again in four or five years.

I get the gripes but I think the change in attitude and energy at head coach is great.

Bert's a good, caring dude that I think will be a great father and I'd love to have a beer with the guy. But his slow moving, chill, reggae loving, flip flop wearing lifestyle completely permeated the entire program after 5 years and that was to it's detriment. I truly think Bert has the intelligence to run a successful P5 program, but his attitude trickled down the whole program to people that needed more motivation to succeed, but weren't getting it. It's why we're 4-8.

Teams need motivators. And while Chad is borderline insane, he is definitely an intense motivator. I think that's what is needed to kick our players in the arse to work harder after 5 years of being coached by a guy that would discipline you if you were 5 seconds late to a meeting, but not if you were lazy during conditioning drills.

so what you're saying is morris is as good or better motivator as nutt, plus he's great with the x's and o's??

Arkansas staaaaacked SEC fuuuucked

the one thing nutt had going for him was he excelled at motivating. he was a 5 star motivator. believe I read somewhere that it was one of the main reasons broyles hired him.
