Keep an eye on young RHP Jackson Rutledge. Sat 92-95 this fall with electric overall stuff. The list goes on in terms of premium young arms.

Really looking forward to this season. On paper, may be the best baseball team of most of our lifetimes.

I mean...you don't have to win your league to win the National Championship.

You realize he has an SEC Championship, right?
Ive gotten off the get rid of Mike bandwagon...but your golden boy also has two chances a year to win an SEC Championship and has yet to do so in his tenure.

I don't know why they match us up with Texas so much. It's a dead rivalry. 1965 was over 50 years ago. The SWC is dead. They're not even our biggest Texas common opponent.

I don't think it's the rivalry much. We recruit Texas hard and play down there a lot in baseball.
We've played in tournaments in Texas the last 2 years, and since we aren't this year we picked up both Texas and Texas Tech. They're just good matchups of good teams and it's nice for recruiting as well.
