That makes sense.
Petrino's worse overall class was 2010. Finished #41 and that class had horrible attrition.
Bielema's worse overall class was 2014. Finished #29.

Basically, right now 247 is showing 15 signees. If we go with the 18 number, that means Arkansas is credited with 3 spots that have a 0 rating. Its one of the biggest issues I have with how recruiting services rank overall classes. It penalizes programs that have a small graduating class that doesn't have the full allotment of "normal" class size scholarships available to use.
Going on average signee rating, Arkansas would still be 11th in the SEC right now though.

This would be a 25ish class if we signed the number we normally do. We’ll have a low ranking because of the number of kids we signed and not necessarily the quality. Folks will get hung up on the ranking though because most don’t understand the ranking system.

I kinda wonder if his waivering caused his spot with both us and Texas to get filled and now he's taking the Ole Miss offer? That's the only thing that makes much sense here (outside of cash and hookers).

Yeah, I was referring to the average which has gone up since my orginal post and will go up more if we sign anyone else. I do like the amount of defensive players that we brought in.

We had 13 seniors but both Cornelius and Kevin Richardson petitioning for extra years.
Then you have to account for Ty Clary and Hayden Henry who were put on scholarship as blueshirts that count against the 85.
