Hmmm... 2-5* and 10-4* in 27 years as a DC, 22 of which were at Tennessee, LSU, and aTm.
Yep, definitely my imagination.
ETA: Those same rankings you linked says Chavis is the #11 recruiting DC in the SEC. #12 if you count a co-DC.

Nice to be in the top half of FBS football, would be nice to surpass Kentucky and Vandy in the SEC.

Sure, do your thing. We might end up essentially filling the class after one recruiting weekend. Three days ago, I figured there would be no way we'd fill it with guys of substance. There's some solid players in there.
We finally had a big recruiting weekend that panned out for once. I'll enjoy it.

We have one signed and another committed...
The defensive recruits are nice and all, but ignoring the O-line thinking its already in place on campus will be a bigger mistaken assumption than Bert thinking the roster was loaded with outstanding WRs when he got here.
We know Bert didn't watch film of the roster he was taking over, call it what is is being lazy, Chad has said he was going to watch the film...

I can't say I'm not worried about the o-line too. But I'm drinking the Kool-Aid on the narrative that Morris' offense will take the burden off the offensive line.

OL problem won’t be fixed in the 2018 class because the lack of targets available.
Scholarship wise Clary, Robinson, Gatlin and either Winkel (OV this weekend) or likely Gasaway will be the 2018 OL class.
Fry has offered 15+ for 2019 already.
With the Rogers (Sr) and Heinrich (RSo) news remaining we have Johnny Gibson (RSr), Deion Malone (RSr), Brian Wallace (RSr), Hjalte Froholdt (Sr), Colton Jackson (RJr), Jalen Merrick (RJr), Kirby Adcock (RFr), Shane Clenin (RFr) and Dalton Wagner (RFr).
I’d like to see a couple TEs move to OT.
