Georgia RB coach Thomas Brown heading to Miami, for whatever part (if any) that might play into Whaley's decision. Georgia was pretty much out already, but wondering if Miami will make a push...

Tough to say. Miami has one really good RB already committed but that doesn't mean Richt won't want more.

So De'Jon Harris got offered by Bama.
Odds we keep him?

Small. Basically only if Bama won't let him commit.

Why do you think this?

At the moment, when a Louisiana kid gets offers from Alabama, Arkansas, and lets just pretend because it probably will happen, LSU - it will be pretty unlikely the kid will choose Arkansas.
However, we offered early, way before the other 'two' so hopefully that will carry a little weight in his decision.
We will have to up our game (wins) to another level and do it consistently to better our chances with recruits like this.
Right now, a Bama offer is hard to turn down. LSU fan even posted 'game over' when he read that Bama had offered Harris.
We can hope though.

Can't blame any LB in the country for wanting to go to Bama. Time to whip out the checkbook

Bama fans said they're recruiting him as a RB.....

Well shite then it shouldn't be hard to keep him if that's true. How many Bama RBs have been processed in the past 5 years? The kid's offensive highlights certainly don't show him being the next Ingram.

Thought I read it was H-back?
Posted on 12/24/15 at 6:51 pm to Gladius Veritas
Prolly fullback, Kiffin is more than likely leaving… look for Saban to go back to more of a fullback, H back look.

he has basically come out and said he expected LSU to offer but he is already over thier offer anyways. he doesn't care about LSU.

We want (need) him as a LB, Bama wants him as a H back or fullback, they don't need him at LB (I'm supposing.)
Guess it will boil down to: 1. Whether he wants to play D or O. and 2. Whether he really will turn down a late LSU offer.
