He didn't get relegated. My friend is a big SC fan and knows JC personally.
He actually owns the SC 247 site with his company he owns... Big Spur Media Group. It's his. So no he didn't get relegated. He still covers SC for the site, look at their forum and you'll see all the posts are by him.
He just also works for SDS after stepping down his national 247 duties to focus on SC and help grow SDS. Believe his company also got a stake in SDS for it.

He got relegated because he was a national guy like Barton Simmons along with helping on the USC site. Now he's only USC site. Probably a move to try to drive up traffic.

Man why can't we get that lucky and have someone like JC own the Arkansas site on any of the major services.

Simmons doesn't own any part of 247, JC is I believe the only head guy that owns his site. Which is why he is still the head guy for the SC site as he owns it.
I don't think relegated is the proper term to describe him doing what he wants with his company.
He didn't get dismissed, he did what he wanted. JC is the best in the business.

I don't have even remotely the amount of time available that is needed to run one of those sites. My wife would divorce me in a heartbeat.
