someone posted the star rating of DB'S taken in the first round over the last few years and they was all 2 or 3 *s and I think the majority was 2*s. the honey badger was a 2*. I'm not saying the guy isn't a reach but it's too soon to tell. I haven't watched his film though.

Not discounting your point, but the Honey Badger was a 4*. LSU was his best offer though (much like Crockett). During his breakout season the college gameday crew pointed out several times that many schools thought he was too small.

We have also missed on guys wanting to be paid. We have said no and they go elsewhere. Not sure if the other schools end up paying them, but I would assume they are because these have been home state guys.

weird. me and my brother both remember him being a 2 star. I could have sworn that he was. I just checked and you was right.
also I know for a fact that a big deal was made about him being about 2 star. one service (a very shitty one that no one uses) named him a 4 star. espn (not good either) may have had him as as 2 star, or possibly 247. I remember very clearly a big to do about him being a 2 star. not all services rank the same. someone somewhere named him a 2 star because I remember people on TV making a point about it.

I hear you. One side of me admires Bert and Mike for doing the right thing, but the other side of me wishes we would just join the club of teams willing to get a little dirty. It has hurt us pretty bad when you consider we recruit them for years and then at the last minute they put their hand out.

well I know they aren't the only ones doing it. I'm quite aware that most do it. sadly arkansas is one of the schools who are more on the up and up.
