Looking like Al Golden is fixing to leave Miami for PSU, Randy Shannon is gonna have a chance to go down there and do work.

Now all we need is for Strong to go to Texas.

Why would Golden leave Miami for State College, PA?

Evidently he wants to go back up north. How crappy does that make Miami when your coach would rather go to a school that just got what equates to the death penalty for allowing coaches to fondle boys.

Miami will never be the same as it was under Jimmy.

Fits the mold IMO

His attire on game days strike me more as a Big Ten coach

I still think this was just a perfect shitstorm year for BA, I believe he's better than what he showed this year.

The dumbass injury started a snowball. Never recovered fully physically or mentally from it.
The mental part is what worries me. He's mentally weak and it's obvious that the team sees that, too. The team doesn't rally around him and don't look to him to settle the storm. He's insecure (thus the lashing out at Peavey's hype) and a diva. That doesn't make a good leader. We need another Mallett/Wilson with a head on their shoulders tight enough to keep their mind right when the going gets tough. I still firmly believe that if Rafe doesn't take the starting job and/or redshirts, Austin will be taking the snaps next year simply for that reason.

Penn State has way better fan support/facilities etc. than Miami. I loved Miami in its heyday, but those days are gone forever IMO

He dresses like that because of Joe Paterno specifically, I believe.

This is all going to depend on how fast Rafe learns the playbook. he's got as good or better physical ability than our current qb clusterfrick.

A run threat QB would help our passing game so much with all the bootlegs we like to run. I'm so ready for a mobile QB again. Main reason I wanted BMitchell to get a shot last year

I remember when allen had a long run in the spring game a few years ago i was really excited about his mobility. Guess it was just our defense
