Not going to lie, I'm not sold on the Florida recruiting strategy after seeing Nutt and Petrino try and fail here using that strategy, but I have to remind myself how shitty of recruiters both of those guys and staffs were...

The next couple years will probably convert the Hootie and BP luva luvers to realize how lazy and pathetic they were at mixing it up for big time talent.
Hootie wouldn't drive 2 sonics away to chase a Parade All American, and BP couldn't butter up the parents enough to hustle them into letting their elite kid come here.

Apparently Monty Nelson is a rather large grade risk. Makes sense why we cooled on him. That sucks.

4:07 UPDATE: - Alex Collins told me that Thomas and Partridge showed him a video of the campus on their iPad and that it was great to see them again. He said he's looking forward to visiting this weekend. Also said they're telling him he can come right in and play immediately as long as he works hard and learns the offense. Said this weekend's visit is to see if he can see himself being successful academically and as an athlete.
- Devon Allen says Arkansas WRs coach Michael Smith will be by to see him tomorrow.
Vin Ascolese has enrolled at College of Sequoias.
