Woopig is fairly similar to the rant in that you can say pretty much whatever you want (cussing, etc), as long as you're not being racist. You can even call out a moderator, call him a fricking a-hole, and not worried about getting banned.

Why?

Because woopig is for adults whose "jimmies never get rustled." Hogville is the complete opposite. The moderators ban people left and right. It's a fricking soap opera.

Woopig has no patience for 1 thing that Razorback fans everywhere seem to be very fond of...posting just to post. Log onto just about any other Hog board and you'll find 10 threads discussing roughly similar themes. Woopig hates that. Woopig, for instance, just has a long running "offseason 2013" thread. If you want to talk about who YOU think the next WR coach is, you don't post a fricking thread about it. You post in that thread where everyone else is.

It's a discussion, as opposed to people yelling over each other trying to seem more important than they are.

And yes, woopig is full of assholes (guilty).

I agree, I find it pretty hard to follow discussions on woopig. I don't want to read every page of a 20+ (sometimes way more than that) megathread about a pretty broad topic just to find the nuggets I'm interested in.

There are a few threads there that I make a point to read, though, but they aren't related to football. In particular, the campus growth and Fayetteville growth/development threads are really good. wmr makes them both worth reading.

Also, the upcoming opponent threads that get stickied are usually gold.

That is the absolute number one point of the long thread discussion lay out. Not necessarily looking at you oklahog, but it weeds out the HiV dipshits looking for the newest bestest juiciest scoop. They look at the board, see the same top 5 thread titles, think there has been no new information posted and move on. It's just like Ocelot said, there is no need for 5 new threads saying the same bullshite over and over.

I would say the recruiting information here is the best free info available, woopig doesn't have shite for recruiting info. HiV is such an abortion of a message board I refuse to ever go there.

Saying that woopig is a slightly more intelligent Hogville is like saying Stephen Hawking is slightly more intelligent than Theresa Prewitt.

There's way too much childish bullshite on here for my tastes. Woopig would appeal to the 30+ crowd, which is likely why most of you don't like it. You're still young.

For instance, SunHog might be a perfectly awesome guy, but his gloating about his lifestyle would NEVER go over well on woopig.

But, and I'll say it again, there's not another message board related to Arkansas sports that's more devoted to the freeflowing discussion of Razorback athletics or life in general. You can post whatever the frick you want on woopig and not have to worry about getting banned (outside of racism and porn).

Even here you can get banned if some overzealous mod takes a disliking to you. We've openly discussed the disparity of flames calling out LSU being anchored while threads that flame Arkansas are left alone.

Hogville is run by a fricking longhorn fan, cares ONLY about driving traffic to the site, and is the biggest stain on Arkansas fan reputations imaginable. Other fan bases search for "Arkansas message board" and go to hogville. That's fricking scary. OMG! 1500124897 members! And 90% of the posts are illegible gibberish lacking any substance or grammar. Oh, and to make matters worse, the mods are fricking unAmerican control nazi's.

I don't follow RT much, but I poke over there from time to time. It seems like a toned down Hogville.

Basically, I enjoy woopig because it mimics life. I can say whatever I want pretty much, express my opinion completely, and not have to worry if I'll be allowed to continue to participate. HiV is the complete opposite of that. So, in essence, Woopig = America. Hogville = Communist Russia.
