For real, I swear dude just waits to see who we're targeting then goes after them. I hate him and they are my biggest rival in the SEC at this point.

If they're our biggest rival, then we now know what it's like to be a fan of a Mississippi school - 7 wins this year between us and Auburn.

Remember when Nutt was doing this at Ole Miss?

Yeah, he stole one or two here and there, but it didn't work out for him long term did it?

DT Depth for next year.

1. DeMarcus Hodge - rSO
2. Robert Thomas - SR
3. Darius Philon - rFR
4. Byran Jones - SR

There was talk earlier about Horace Arkadie growing into a DT spot, he blew up (in a good way) weight wise after getting here. Don't know where he is right now though...

ETA: Just checked roster, he was last listed at 6-4, 270. Light for DT unless he has continued to add, nice size for DE though.

perfect example of how rivals and such are biased to certain schools. you get an offer from auburn and all of a sudden your a better player

Rivals was started by a bunch of Tennessee grads/fans, IIRC.

I think the sold/left to start 24/7.

It is impossible for every player in the country to be evaluated and ranked in a nice order/system from best to worst for every position then be graded into a neat star system with points awarded to make these ranking systems accurate enough to project future success, accurately.

So, yeah, they are selling a form of entertainment/information service. I would say it is a useful tool for the athlete, but I would seriously question any college coach who would use these services as a recruiting tool anyway.

As far as the service and their evaluaters, I would think it would be far more lucrative for their talent/services to NFL/College teams as far as compensation and benefits if they are the best in the country at identifying, evaluating, and projecting talent...

I honestly think they base *'s on amount of offers from big time programs as well as film.

eta: You can usually tell a players talents from how many major programs are going after that player.

Hearing from multiple sources that RB Donovan Roberts is leaving Arkansas. One source says he may be headed to U of Central Oklahoma.

eta:
That would leave: Nate Holmes, Dylan Cruz, Jonathan Williams, and Kody Walker as our RB's.

Sort of. I remember with Allen they admitted to rating him a 3* because he was offered by Arkansas and that was that, but they rated Frazier higher, until they saw Allen play, instead of admitting they were wrong they bumped Allen to a 4 star but kept him behind Frazier.

Until they were called out on it, they would go back and "fudge" with the ratings hoping no one would notice, example was Mcfadden was a 4* on Rivals originally, they went back and bumped him up to a 5* his freshman year.

It doesn't really "matter" except on the internet in February, you are still going to have schools with shittastic classes like we had, Wisconsin, TCU, Boise, Oregon etc making it to BCS bowls while you have schools like Auburn and Tennessee winning recruiting championships in the February and struggling to win 1 SEC game between the two a couple years later...

Really don't think he or Holmes are the kind of backs Bielema wants.

I'd rather not speculate on things like that. And some of the kids you mentioned have no chance of getting processed.
