What's your New Year resolution and if you could give someone on here a resolution they'd stand by what and who would it be?
I'm going to try to drink less, take more vacations with the kiddos, and enjoy life more. This past year was rough.

Well, o would say those are some good aims. Drinking a bunch rarely goes

My mom passed this year (2025), I took care of her since 2021. She had dementia, needed constant care, and lived with me.
Couldn't do much with my grown kids and the grandkids which is just the sacrifice you make.
Wanted to post something where we could share instead of the same ole same ole.

It’s not a resolution but something I’ve been working on for awhile. Living in the present instead of always worrying about the future. While it’s helped me get where I want be in my career, I’ve gone too far to worry about all the potential bad outcomes of everything. It’s turned me into an over analyzer and worrier.

Whatever else happens, this will always be my focus as long as they’re young enough to want me around.
Everything else ends up being a distant second and if you aren’t sure go ask some old men in a nursing home what they wish they’d done with their time.
It isn’t golf or working more.

This is how I feel, its part of the reason I dislike arguing so much. Life is too short and too hard to have anger and hate in it.
For those of you who lost your loved ones sorry for your loss. Their pain and suffering is over.
