Well he's only had 14 weeks to get it right
Maybe he and Billingsley ...oh never mind

Traeshon Holden is the BEST blocker but Metchie is the BEST route runner. Leary had Ringo beat on the play where the ball was thrown to Metchie. In my honest opinion I think Leary needs more touches. This has been a pure blessing for Leary because he wasn't seeing the field earlier this season.

There is no I in team.

There is a lot of time for the freshmen to prove themselves over the next few weeks.
And hopefully, we have the semi-final game in control and there is an opportunity to try some different options and see who is ready to step up.

He is the reason we had a chance to beat Auburn. That’s pretty awesome.

Leary being able to get on the field and have the coaches develop some trust in him has been a great benefit for him. May not pay off this season but it certainly will next year.

Hope Hall gets a chance to show his wares this year but it doesn’t seem likely. That’s a shame. He is a talent but probably immature. He, Baker and Bell maybe gone after this year.

I dont think Hall will have any big role this year, but he could be asked to earn some respect from his teammates by being a big physical blocker on the perimeter for the other guys. I think that would be a great way for him to get his career trajectory back on track, and get his foot in the door for next season.
Whatever though... the main thing is utilizing Leary speed in the gameplan to stretch the D, and getting Holden, Brooks, and JoJo ready to step up. Those three and Bryce need to be on the field building chemistry every second Bryce is not somewhere dealing with Heisman obligations.

Put Hall as the H-back and run that one route that #19 is too lazy to run half the time. It's not like #19 is blasting his defender when he blocks.

I wonder if Hall has checked out and is just waiting on the transfer portal.

Oh I’m not saying that catch wasn’t good and I’m also not saying he isn’t good right now. Was just requesting a pump the brakes on a WR being “legendary status” when he only has 5 catches to his name so far. Now, do I want him to ball out and become a legend?? You dang right.

I wish people would quit knocking Hall. He didn't quit or enter the transfer portal and I think that says a lot about his willingness to be a part of the Process and deal with adversity.

For his sake I hope not; there clearly is some ability there and there will be a lot of opportunities between now and the fall to carve out a role.
One positive here is that he's not already announced it whereas we've had a couple guys do so (Quick & Banks).

He had a step on him for sure, but unfortunately he was running the wrong route. No way he and metch were supposed to end up in the exact same spot. That's been a recurring issue with our WR/route tree - too many times we have WRs in the same spot/area.

Yes, I've noticed that too. Far too many times one of our WR's almost runs a 2nd defender into the spot where Bryce is throwing. That's either poor play design, or players not running the correct routes. I've noticed that happen at least half a dozen times this season and don't remember it being an issue in past years.

I'd lean toward inexperienced guys not doing the right thing. It's not always as easy as on "X" play you run "Y" route. My guess is they are often messing up the option routes and end up in the same spot. Definitely not what you want.

Experience. But they will get better at it. We have bowl practice... young players will get more time in film room and get better. Now is the time for Leary, Brooks and Holden to step up and we will be fine.

Just checked out Hall’s Twitter page. It’s…. strange.
It’s, odd.

Jojo may be back too.
That’s the only guy I expect we might see who hasn’t at least been on the field the past few games.
