Anyone know why he has been MIA from getting any snaps?

He's pretty much been out of football for 2 years. Probably just taking some time to get back into it, and the training staff want to take things slow with him. He has shown some promising flashes, so I hope he gets there soon.

He's played sparingly so far, but he'll likely play a lot more now that Jase can't play. Like Jase, Trey is a very good runner and receiver, but maybe hasn't been up to par in pass protection.

I hope so. He is most complete back we have when healthy IMO.

Gives me the sads. He is so damn talented

Wheaton having a meniscus injury as well is a bummer. Had hoped to see him.

Thank God for the ridiculousness of depth we came into the year with and hope for the best going forward

Drew DeArmond implied Treys lack of snaps so far has been more due to his inability to do the secondary duties of an RB like blocking etc.

Trey looks a bit stiff and upright when he does play. I’m worried his injuries have caused some permanent issues. Hope he proves me wrong. We really need Wheaton to get healthy now. Also wish Keilan had stuck it out, he might be our number 2 back right now instead of playing for an irrelevant Texas team in an irrelevant conference. Some of these dudes have the patience of a peanut.

An ongoing RB and WR rule with Saban coached teams is if you can't block, you can't play.

I don’t think a lot of people realize how severe Sanders’ injuries were physically and emotionally and how tough his recovery has been. There were thoughts he wouldn’t even play again. He may not get back to 100% of what he was and if he does it’s going to take time.

Everyone outside of Metchie shouldn't start then because no one can block for shite on screens.
