This will be the best offense and defense that Bama has faced and will face until they see MSST. I think you could put aTm, MSST, LSU and Auburn all in the same category. I believe we will know exactly what to expect the rest of the season after this game. I also think with Bama scoring so much that teams have to abandon their balanced offensive approach to play catch up. Once they become one dimensional Alabama has you.

Yep, and probably in that order.

The only team that can beat Alabama is the team that can get our defense out of 2 high safeties, i.e. run the football successfully.

Linebacker play has got to improve, but other than that everything is fully operational Death Star level.

Bama scores too fast, which is not a complaint, just that there will probably be 1 or 2 more possessions per game for each team than years past. Defense will be on the field longer. Other teams playing from behind will be forced to pass. The entire bench being in by the 4th quarters of games will end up giving up points and yards. But all this is great for experience in the future.

our first 11 are good but we are lacking quality depth now. Should we get into an up tempo type game depth will be a problem. Should we lose someone due to injury we will start to suffer. We cant afford to lose anyone at the MLB or OLB spots.

And this year, with the offense able to score quickly and build a big league against most teams we will face, even some that can run the ball relatively successful may find themselves down and forced to become more-one dimensional playing catch up.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
