I think if SDH and Eddie Jackson are healthy we win that game. Didn't one of our ILB get hurt in game as well? Injuries also got us along with limited QB play.

Jalen would have had a chance to do some remarkable things had he started all 4 years for Bama 1. All time winningest QB in NCAA history. 2. Most TD passes for Bama all time. 3. Most passing yards Bama all time. 4. Most rushing TD's Bama all time. 5. Most rushing yards Bama all time. And 0 national titles. He's already 0 for 2.

This, to me, is bashing the kid.

That’s not from the poster who I asked about.

But even then, he’s not wrong. Jalen can’t get it done in the big games because his limitations as a passer.

But he has a NC at Bama and played for 2. I guess I just need to stay out of Tua/Hurts threads because I don’t get what the point is in saying things like that about a person who is trying their best to help Alabama succeed.

The whole “he played for 2” or “he got Bama to 2” is not technically wrong but it also makes it seem like he was by far the biggest reason which isn’t true. Just like the 26-2 record thing.

I really don’t see how that’s bashing. No one is saying he’s half-assing it and isn’t trying his best. Just pointing out that he can’t seem to get it done in these games.

I agree with the 26-2 record thing. But if you are going to say he is 0-2 in NCs then you can say that about a bunch of players on the team. You can’t say that he isn’t why 26-2 happened and then say he is 0-2 in NCs. I know he struggled against Clemson but there was a lot more going on than just him. He ran for a 30+ yard TD to put us ahead with 2:00 to play. I realize that the defense was drained. But I know that the play caller did nothing to help him or the defense, either.

At the end of the day I just want a win tonight and to bring home #18 this year. Roll Tide, y’all.

Just realized: One QB was 26-2 One QB completed 2nd and 26. Tua is 13 and Jalen is 2 13x2=26. That's some Ying and Yang shite. :shook:

Also found it strange that we were down 13-0 at half...it was like a sign that we needed #13.

I want #18 as well...and we will need Tua for that. That's why people argue over it so vehemently. Roll Tide Roll

I assumed most of you were already drunk, most of the time. You are slackers, should have started no later than 10 AM today.

Drunk on no sleep in anticipation, BUT, seems Bama has never been able to recruit the Great Passing (or dual threat) QB because Bama is always considered a running school where the QB only needed to hand the ball off. Having Tua as the starter for the next two years(at least) high profile HS QB's as well as WR's can rethink how they look at BAMA, Keep attracting and signing the best RB in the nation each year and getting 5Star QB's who are elite would be an amazing development. Top Defense, Top RB's and Elite Passing attack... WOW. So, not talking about Jalen; but, TUA gives Bama the new image of no more game managers, but QB's who can read the D and distribute the ball to elite WR's, TE's and RB's (remember I didnt sleep last night...forgive spelling and ramblings

The flipside of it is if we keep him on the bench in favor of the "safer" player. It'll just confirm the image you speak of in the minds of the future Tua types.
