If Ohio State wins big we are not in.

Without being in the room and in the heads of each committee member, this cannot be purported as fact. Each committee member receives instructions, but as those instructions are vague as to which criteria is weighted how, each member is free to weight each data point as they see fit.

Some might be swayed toward OSU even if they only win by a point. Some might be completely unimpressed by OSU winning by 50 as they consider OSU's 2 blowout losses to be paramount.

It's all up in the air until they announce the 4 teams in a week or whatever.

All of the media even local are saying OSU is in with a win based on last night's committee chair comments.

How I feel too, but I'm not sure I can trust it.

If a team was 8-4, and somehow played 10 of the top 25 teams in the country, would they get in with 4 losses if they have 6-7 top 25 wins?

The more I think about it the less optimistic I am that the committee moves Bama up even if the correct game results happen for us. I can just see them moving teams up and down around Bama and leaving us right where we are at #5 with the explanation simply being - they didn't play this week so our opinion of them didn't change either way - still believe they are the 5th best team. Hope that's not the case.
