This may have been posted before if so please delete.

However, I just saw this - great breakdown of his ability. Well done video and worth the watch.

To me what stands out most about him is his ability to quickly adjust his base and make accurate throws from different angles. The play he had against Vandy is the most obvious example of this. It's such a rare and valuable trait.

That throw opened my eyes to his talent. Namath could make that throw. Stabler was a good passer but I think Tua may be ahead of him now.

This year could be an all timer.

I would say culture and Hawaiian football in general. I would like to see a side by side comparison of Hawaii and other states (esp. Bama) when it comes playing the game. They prob. never heard of the wishbone in that state.

The thing about Tua that strikes me is he was so well coached up in high school. It's a combination of talent, ability, coachability, intelligence, timing and coincidence. Not many kids can absorb NFL coaching as a high schooler. Having June Jones as your high school OC who was a long-time NFL assistant, NFL and college head coach, and who shares a relationship with your college head coach, etc. put a lot in Tua and Alabama's favor. I think it's all kismet.

Same here. I was one of the "he's a good QB, but Jalen will be the starter until he graduates or enters the draft" guys. After the Vandy game I thought it was pretty clear that Tua was on a different level than Jalen.

And I am a big fan of Jalen, but it's the truth.

Tua really does have the “it” factor.
