I'm glad they took care of business. Admittedly, it basically took Pyne coming in and throwing a backbreaking pick - near midfield at the end of the half with the game only 6-0 Bama - for the game to break open.
But by God, they didn't slop around and allow this game to stay a slog for 4 quarters. This game was over after the first possession of the 3rd quarter.
I'm not confident that they go to Baton Rouge and win but refreshing to see a team try to hand Alabama the game and Alabama actually takes it instead of playing hot potato.

There were definitely some issues offensively in the first half that we need to clean up, but if our defense put up the same kind of effort against LSU as they did tonight, I’ll feel pretty good about our chances. I’ve been a critic of Jihad all season, but that dude played great tonight. I found zero flaws in the defensive performance today

It’s confusing that many people here are glossing over this. Thankfully the backup QB kept throwing to Bama because it was FGs, 3 and outs and punts before that.

Hogwash. this week proved that Deboer &co have what it takes. This week proved that trouble is behind us and put milroe back at the top of heisman list. We need to get them all raises.

He was still pretty bad man. Lots of off target throws still. Poor RW can’t get a ball when he runs wide arse open. Even completions are late, resulting in shorter gains. Red Zone O has pretty much gotta be a run because in that compressed area, there are too many bodies around to trust the guy throwing.

Hey guys.
This is not to take away that bama was better today. Cook was so handicap that he probably should not have played. We were also out our #1 Rb and 2/3 receiver all game.
I absolutely do not think we win with them. I do think it’s a semi close game with them.
I do think our defense was phenomenal given the early 3 and outs, all the TO on our end, and having the worst backup performance ever.
All that said I do respect the hell out of your program and hope you guys finish strong. The few friends I have that went down were raving about up till the start of the game when all communication was lost.
We won’t get many chances to beat you guys, and this year felt like the year and that makes it feel worse.

I hope the team doesn’t get too cocky over this. I know this is not the same situation post UGA game and it’s not only reason why Bama lost the following week but I do think the players and coaches ate the rat poison going into Vandy
With LSU coming off a loss and Bama coming off a win, I hope they don’t go in there thinking they can just show up and get a W

I agree. Your DE was wreaking havoc in our backfield. Can’t recall his name but he had 2 sacks. One of them was on Proctor. 1st sack he gave up all season

Zion young and Johnny walker jr ( awesome name) are the DE and ya they have played amazing the last 3 weeks. Rest of the line has been meh but whatever.
