How good would Bama be with a Williams or Smith type receiver and Gibbs or Jacobs type back?

I almost believe Saban under utilized them. Gibbs and Jacobs were both transfer ins, IIRC.

Jacobs was not a transfer player.

Jacobs was not a transfer. Bama was his first big FBS offer coming out of HS. You can say he was a bit underutilized though

And Gibbs was not as underutilized as Bama fans keep saying. He had 1362 scrimmage yards in about 11 games. That’s about 124 ypg. His numbers didn’t pop because he missed almost 2 games and barely played in 3 different blowout wins.

Down vote to hell, no one on our current roster has near the heart of anyone I mentioned.

If Jam is the best running back we can recruit, turn out the lights, the party's over.

Well the recruit Deboer just signed would start Friday over Jam (Saban’s recruit) so there ya go.
