Alabama's Jameson Williams, the projected top WR in the 2022 NFL Draft, tore his ACL last night vs. Georgia, per sources. Doctors believe that, after surgery within the next 10 days, Williams will retain his sub 4.3 speed, and they expect a full recovery.

Dang, I hope he makes a full recovery quickly! I like everything that Jamo brings to the table.

It sounds like it wasn't full blown ACL?

That just stinks. What are the odds of your top 2 WRs going out with knee injuries within a month?

They always say they'll be back 100%, but it's a gamble with a first round pick if the guy can't show that 4.3 is back before the draft.

I guess he still declares, but man... makes a no brainer decision a little tougher.

The fact he still was begging Saban to let him still play say it all about him. Thank You JaMo, he brought the attitude when this team was still finding itself in the early games..and continued to lead for the whole season.

One of my favorite individuals to watch because of his attitude and passion for the game. I'm old fashioned and don't care for the onfield celebrating and showboating, but with him, I see a fellow genuinely having a blast playing the game. It shows up in his efforts on every play.

Turf

All the things they say they want to do for player safety, you'd think they'd eliminate turf whenever possible in these games.

Football was meant to be played on grass.

Dang. I knew it had to be bad. Injuries with no contact are never good.
