Something is wrong with CFB where we potentially have to beat UGA 3 times to win a natty. Personally I don’t think UGA should have been allowed into the championship game. There needs to be a rule added that if the two participants have played in the regular season only the winner of the regular season game goes and the next eligible team is the replacement. Should be zero repeats in the SEC Champ game.

If we end up having to play them three times this year...... I'll do absolutely nothing but bitch about it on this sub.
I’m praying the committee does the fans a solid and places us in tiers where we can only meet in the natty. If that’s the case I would be thrilled to play them a 3rd time. I guess we will see how bad the committee screws this up

Food for thought. I think AM settles at 7 if we stay at 10 with a loss (I think we win) we would play AM at Kyle Field.
If Bama wins do you not think we would get a bye 1st round??

I think he’s saying if we lose we’re going to College Station.

I saw one that has us in Oxford first round with a loss.

This gentleman gets it. Do you think it’s a coincidence? The Texas Tech and BYU game is at 11 so that everyone in the world will know that the SEC championship could be an elimination game. These people know how to make money trust me.
There is zero chance the committee penalizes a team for making its conference championship game. The precedent that would set would be catastrophic for college football. SEC championship game will be canceled almost immediately if this were to occur and I bet the other conferences would soon follow suit. ESPN 100% does not want that.

Generally, I’d agree! Although no team has ever been in that predicament with 3 losses. The ncaa would like nothing other than to screw Bama not having to deal with Saban anymore. I just want to beat Georgia and I think it’s a good possibility we do just that!

A playoff predictor with percentages doesn't mean dick when it comes down to room full of college administrators horse trading within the framework to improve their conference/team's interests.
They act like there is some sort of formula for selection instead of just the feels of room of people.

They are just as banged up as we are and also grateful to play a team that doesn't have absolute hell raisers for pass rushers.
Also pretty hard to beat the same team twice .
I've got to wonder what is going to kill the SECCG first: a losing participant in the playoff bracket getting left out or the fact that I suspect neither one of these teams are going to make a real run at the championships because they're both beat to shite by the schedules Sankey handed them.

Sankey ain't got the balls to kill the seccg

Spineless Sankey won't need them because his member schools tell him to make it happen.

Fingers crossed, don't need it anymore with the playoffs.

If we lose the seccg and TX Tech beats BYU, I don't see any scenario that boots Bama out. Certainly not freakin Miami that couldn't even make the ACC champ game.

Dude what? The predictor updated today and this is its prediction with loss to UGA. I don’t get how these people on twitter can’t go to the website and see for themselves.

Correct or Ole Miss as I’m thinking they drop Ole Miss below AM by 1 because of Lane.
