Duke is the leader for RJ Hampton who is a 2020 Pg, and the 5th ranked player in his class.
Word is he is likely gonna reclassify to the 2019 class, and will Likely sign with Duke if Jones leaves.
I don’t think Kira is going to go to Duke. Memphis is probably our biggest competition for him.

Yea if Watford picks Memphis then I don’t like our chances to keep Kira.

Memphis did just lose their PG in Jeremiah Martin too who was a stud.
It may come down to if Kira has to sit out a year or not if he transfers. If he does that probably makes it more likely he comes back to Bama.
With all the waivers they are granting to make transfers immediately eligible these days its hard to get a read on. Coaching change may be enough for him to get a waiver.
I still think chances are 60% or greater that he comes back to Bama.

Crazy thing is, if RJ Hampton does reclassify to 2019 and Tre Jones ends up staying at Duke, then there is a chance he signs with Memphis, they made his final 4 schools.
So it could all have a domino effect, a lot of people are waiting to see what Tre Jones does.

Yeah, I’d think it would be hard for him to get a waiver when he’s heavily considering returning to Alabama. If he receives one, then they might as well take away the “sit one” rule.

They basically have already taken it away in football. Justin Fields, Tate Martell, a ton of other underclassmen got waivers to be eligible immediately this year.
I think Tate was given one just because of the coaching change at Ohio State.

Barnes doesnt seem like a good fit for UCLA at all. I agree that he is probably trying to get a raise, but who knows.
