Guys another guy Nate should look into getting is Kevion Nolan from Samford...he shot 46% from 3 last season.

I think our PG will stay, however, if he does move on due in part to twitter, it'll probably be worse at higher profile basketball schools like Duke.
This past monday morning all the sport shows were leading off with who to blame for Duke loss, really not giving Michigan State credit. You go to Duke, all games are under national media scrutiny much like Alabama football.

In my case, it wasn't tagging Kira or even saying anything derogatory about him. I can't speak for others that his mom would go after. Bamafan might know better about that because he saw her going after lots of folks.

Holy shite. This was just tweeted by Rival’s Arkansas beat writer, Nikki Chavanelle. Trying not to bite considering how our coaching search went, but if Alford is the guy Arkansas fans will riot.

It’s a cowardly new world we live in now where everyone hides behind a screen and an alias. I don’t agree with attacking a player directly on his own account. I’ve called out my share of players but never @ them. That’s over the line.
But that’s part of playing a major sport at a high P5 school. It comes with the territory. Everybody is your buddy and loves you when you win and it’s all your fault and everybody hates you when you lose. I think Kira did a great job for a 17 year old freshman and he finally hit the wall those last few games and his play suffered. Or maybe he just got fed up with Avery too and started dogging it a little. But the anger toward him was misdirected anger that belongs on Avery. Fans were frustrated and everyone was an easy target. He needs to forget that, get over it and decide what he’s going to do.
If Twitter is going to influence his decision, he needs to stay the hell away from Duke and Alabama and go to Samford or Troy instead.

Guy can coach. I don't think he's elite, but he's very good and A&M will consistently be a good, NCAA quality team.
Exactly this. Va Tech is essentially Auburn basketball history wise, and Buzz did a hell of a job there. I wanted us to look at him the year prior to Grant being fired, but unfortunately, Battle's dumb arse kept him another year.

I'm not going to come out suggesting AU has some history that just isn't there
But to suggest VA Tech and their 1 NCAAT W from 1968-2018 is on par with Auburn is just silly though

At this point, I think we'd better be finding a backup plan in the portal just in case. Kira is welcome back, but we can't wait forever.
