With ponytail gone, there’s about to be a rude awakening with S&C for these boys!
Seriously though, I feel empathy and sadness for these kids and the previous 4 seasons for having to suffer through complete incompetence at this level of play. There’s no excuse for it and it should have been nipped in the bud long before now.

Its sad that Petty,Herb,Reese, and Galin are all about to be Juniors and Oats said they have a LONG way to go skill wise. WTF was Avery doing?

Never mind Avery, wtf was Pelphrey and Yas and Pett doing? Did they even try to do things that needed doing? And it was specifically Pelphrey’s job to transition Avery from NBA to college. Did he not convince Avery to do anything??

Nor am I. The only one I would be slightly confident in keeping is Pettway for recruiting purposes.

In general though, both UA / AU has some sh*tty fans who can't understand sports outside our rivalry. The type of idiots who would trade a Sweet 16 for a series sweep of UA + NIT
Basketball rivalries are fun but they aren't nearly as important as for FB.

What exactly is the limit on number of assistants Oats can have? Aren't they allowed to have on and off court assistants like football?

You have 3 on court assistants, a director of basketball operations, a S&C guy, a trainer, and then video coordinators, GA's, and student managers.

That's because both schools have a large contingent of fans who hate the other team more than they love their own. That's not to say that I don't care if Auburn wins or loses their next game. I hope you get boat raced and end up losing by 26. But if you told me we would go to the Sweet 16 3 times and the Final Four once in the next 5 years at the expense of a 8-10 game losing streak to Auburn, I would do that deal without a second thought.

Look...I want success in basketball just as much as the next Alabama fan but there is no way in hell I'd make that trade. 8-10 game losing streak to Auburn...in football? Kill me now.

Guys i dont think this recruiting class is getting enough hype. Its way better than the 2017 group.....especially if we get Trendon.
