I'm obviously pro Bruce and think at this point he is a high character guy as he's gained perspective but.....
Bruce Pearl is coaching at a place like Auburn for a reason
Bruce Pearl had a show cause over just a BBQ for a reason
Bruce Pearl was stuck for ~5 years at UW Milwaukee for a reason
Bruce Pearl was stuck as a D2 HC for ~10 years for a reason
Bruce Pearl definitely made mistakes of character in his career. That said, I've talked with BP and heard him talk enough to see he owns up to them and seemingly identified his own failings

Absolutely love what I am hearing from coach Oats. He is definitely saying all the right things. Can not wait until the season starts

Nope, thats pretty much exactly what he said. Also loved that he specifically acknowledged that Petty has to learn to dribble and Herb needs to learn to shoot.

Nate Oats is the real deal. I’d like to apologize to the board here for praising Avery for so long. I guess I just fell in love with his recruiting, he couldn’t coach though. Oats was the right move, I feel like he’s holding on to Kira and signing Trendon too.

Avery had them watch film of the 99 Spurs and had the Big men watch Film of his good friend "The Admiral"

I’ve seen mixed reports with some saying it was Coach Oats and some saying it was Hodgson. Either way that is hilarious and someone did tweet out a pic of the poster halfway ripped off the wall so I guess it really happened
