I’ve got Gary at back-up SF behind Primo. These are great problems to have lol

We have so many players that can play multiple positions. It’s a great problem to have and I’m interested to see how Oats divides the playing time. One thing is for sure......if somebody is lazy as frick in the game this year they will get fricking benched. Unlike last year when Oats has no choice but to keep playing them.

This is how I see the final line-up when it’s all said and done, based off height and skill set. I’m leaving Petty off, most here think he’s gone. I’m not convinced he is. But, here’s my No-Petty line-up prediction...

PG: Jahvon Quinerly/Transfer PG
SG: Jaden Shackelford/Keon Ellis/Jaylen Forbes
SF: Josh Primo/Juwan Gary/Darius Miles
PF: Herbert Jones/Keon Ambrose-Hylton
C: Jordan Bruner/James Rojas/Javian Davis

^You’re right, I changed my mind. I would put Rojas at C. But, I’d keep Gary at SF.

Why wouldn’t he go with 23??? It would be open if Petty stayed in the draft

He sounded hopeful that Petty returns. Of course he said he didnt know about Herb or Petty if they will or not, said he thinks Kira is gone.

That interviewer sucked. I did like Bruners brutal honesty throughout the interview though.

He was brutally honest, I was surprised to hear how much he hates school, I figured to pick Yale he must be big into academics or something.

Sounds like he is 100% about bball. How he remembered the how many points his team lost by in their losses last year, which of his teammates showed up in that game ect was impressive. You can tell he wants to win every game. We need that bad.

I’m shocked a guy with a degree from Yale basically let it be known he didn’t come to play no school

From his interview with @jeremyshapiro42:

“Coach Oats was the first out of everybody, he never even sent an assistant my way,” said Bruner.

He added that he was impressed with the knowledge Oats already had about his game.

Yale/LSU 2019 NCAA tournament

Here is the full Yale/LSU game. Bruner was really impressive in the 2nd half, especially the last 10 mins or so. He was blocking shots, getting rebounds, made a nice no look pass for a dunk, made a couple clutch 3s.......really impressive.

He may have just made a business decision. That degree is worth its weight in gold as far as networking goes.

Don’t be surprised if Davis is one of the first ones shown the door.
