I'm pretty sure the staff has a good idea on if a player is gonna leave or not. I'm sure they've had those discussions with Petty and his family already, Oats has said as much a couple of times.

He said Petty could go 2nd round to undrafted. he and his family have a hard decision to make.

Cecil says we will for sure sign 4, almost likely to sign 5, and could possibly sign 6.

He is counting Ambrose and Primo in that though. That would mean we sign anywhere from 3 to 4 more.

A lot of players still enter the draft, go undrafted get picked up by the g league for the 90,000 dollars. 75 underclassman entered the draft last year that didn't get drafted.
Petty is good friends with Donta Hall who just went from undrafted in the G league to the NBA pretty fast and is also good friends with Levi Randolph who is having a good career in the G league.

I wish Ellis would hurry up and commit. The current plausibility of Forbes being the first guard that would come off the bench worries me. We need some more guards.

Last Instagram post he made a few days ago said decision coming soon, haven't heard anything since then. I think it's between us and Iowa State.
We have been recruiting him a lot longer than they have so that should help us. He and Oats seem to have a good relationship too from what I have read.

I need some good news this weekend. A trifecta of Ellis then Singleton then Miles would be nice. Of course that would just seal the fate of the 20-21 basketball season not happening.
