So the longer Primo goes without committing to us, the less I feel good about landing him.

Same.
Creighton has an attractive offense too.

When he reclassified he said he would be committing in about a month, he reclassified Feb 19th. That was barely over two weeks ago.

Who is this Saquon Singleton dude that BamaRoundball posted about on twitter? From same JUCO as Rojas
Posted on 3/7/20 at 12:20 pm to CrimsonFever
You could look at it also as if he knew where he wanted to go, he would’ve committed by now

Never heard of him but he posted on his Instagram story that Bama showed him love. Not sure what that means. Word is he is really good on defense, Herb Jones F/G type player with a similar skillset it looks like.

SAQUAN SINGLETON – 1st-team All-Jayhawk WestThe 6-6 sophomore from the Bronx, New York, did a little bit of everything for the Blue Dragons, ranking in the KJCCC's statistical Top 20 in seven different categories.
Singleton averaged 11.8 points per game while shooting 54.4 percent from the field. He averaged a team-high 7.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.5 steals with 30 total blocked shots in 30.8 minutes per game.
Singleton ranked third in assists, sixth in the league in rebounding, ninth in minutes played, 13th in field-goal percentage, 15th in blocked shots and 16th in steals.
Singleton posted a triple-double of 14 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists against NEO on November 12. He also had three other double-doubles this season. Singleton had three games of 12 or more rebounds.
Singleton's first-team selection marks the fifth-straight season the Blue Dragons have had a first-team all-KJCCC selection.

Looks like Singleton is 22nd on the Juco top 100 list, Keon Ellis is number 9, Rojas was 5th.
Different type of prospect than Primo and Ellis in that they are great shooters and prolific scorers. Singleton isn't a shooter, he shot 11% from three but seems to do everything else well, rebound, handle the ball, pass, defense. He seems to be a hard playing toughness type guy, we need more of those to change the culture.
Here's the best highlight video I can find of him.

He also said he might just randomly commit, he wasn't sure.

He is probably gonna be offered by Duke, Kentucky ect. Averaged 22 points a game last year, shot like 40% from three.
Would love to get him but there's gonna be some tough competition I assume.

That doesn’t sound like the prototypical Coach Cal recruit. I could see Coach K going after him but it would surprise me to see him end up at Kentucky but what the hell do I know?

I just want to post anyone who is available until we know if we have a shot or not. I'm expecting some roster management this offseason so everything is on the table until it isn't.

Oh yeah I wasn't saying you shouldn't post him, I'm pretty sure we will offer him, just was saying that I bet he gets a lot of good offers.

Jabari Smith Jr. is currently ranked amongst the Top-five juniors in the entire country and is slotted at fifth overall in his class by 247Sports.com.
Who is Jabari Smith Jr. on the court?
“Jabari Smith is a multi position player. Two-way player, he can guard 1-5. Jabari can score and is a great teammate. Coachable, and all about winning,” he told Stockrisers.com
He’s drawn himself a national recruitment over the past few years including blue blood interest which never became anything serious.
Among the schools on him the hardest:
“Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Tennessee, LSU and Florida State are on me the hardest right now,” Smith Jr. said.
He’s taken several visits including trips to Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Georgia Tech, and many others. None matter more than the official visits and he recently took one to Tennessee. His thoughts?
“I recently took an official to Tennessee and it was great. I love the coaching staff, there play style, and everything about them. Rick Barnes is a great coach. I like that school a lot.”
Many have wondered if the Top-five prospect will opt to reclassify and enroll at a college campus a year early.
Smith Jr’s thoughts?
“Reclassifying is not an option. I am not reclassifying.”
As far as what’s next for his recruitment, he plans on taking more visits at some point and is working on setting those up. In addition, he doesn’t have any sort of timetable for a decision or a list cut and is still open with his recruitment.

As I said yesterday he was gonna be a hard get. He averaged 22 ppg last year and shot over 40% from three. He will probably end up at Kansas.
