From what I’ve seen if Fleming, I don’t think he’s as horrible as Galin.
All you've seen of him is YouTube highlights.

Hell, if Fleming only has 2 moves, thats 1 move better than Galin.
The problem is he's unathletic as hell. He basically rode the pine in AAU ball because he couldn't keep up with pace. I don't see how that's going to work with Nate.

Percentage wise, Ingram was our best shooter this year.
Id like to see how many shots Ingram didnt take that were wide open.

And for whatever reason, Avery seemed to put him in those situations quite often
Avery decided he was going to use a "point forward" even if he didn't have one or know how to use one.

Without looking, probably close to your last 50 posts.
I disagree with just about every single thing you post in this thread.
Same for Saban N Bear.

Also from looking at video clips Hawkins didnt start on his AAU team sooo....

Bro when you shoot that much at that pace all it takes is 1 or 2 hot stretches a game to accumulate these points. I cant tell you how many times this year Auburn would be shooting terribly get hot for 2 or 3 minutes and be at almost 80 points at the end of the game.
At least you seem to understand how their offense works. They take a ton of shots, have short possessions, this leads to a lot of points but not very good team shooting percentages.
Makes it even more impressive that 4 of their guys shot over 35% from three.

Well I haven't seen you post in the thread til now. I am sure I would disagree with most of what you think as well if that's the case.

Kid played well in AAU.
He only averaged 3.8 points on 40% shooting.

I'm not advocating kicking him out because I want to see him play first, but if someone's going to say, "Galin can't play under Oats," Fleming is in the same boat.

So do we actually have a shot at this Harlond Beverly kid?
Posted on 3/30/19 at 8:57 pm to TomRollTideRitter
My thing is this. You guys are saying they cant play in the system but hell Hawkins doesnt look like a freak athlete. He isnt out here skying to the rim when he is dunking either lol.

Recruiting nuggets from Evan Daniels:
-Coach Hodgens met with 4-star guard Harlond Beverly today. Setting up an OV.
-WVU transfer James Bolden was likely going to Buffalo but now Bama has a chance. He is a guard who averaged 12.5 PPG and 2.5 APG before getting a severe ankle sprain and missing the rest of the season.
-Whole staff will meet with Watford tomorrow
-Coach Oats met with Shack last night and will try to meet with Gary and Forbes this week.
-Actively recruiting and talking to Kira. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him back at Bama.
This is quite the fap-worthy update. I’m assuming Hodgens is pretty official if he’s recruiting for us now?

Here’s how my math works. Galin has ZERO impact at this level of college basketball. Worst case scenario, Fleming is as bad as Galin, and we have a wasted roster spot. I just find it hard for anyone else to be that bad.

Man, I sure as hell hope so. It seems like he would be a great fit.

Goes to look up Harlond Beverly...

Look at the first play of this highlight video, Hawkins who is a center taking a guy one on one to the hoop like a PG.
Hawkins highlights
Herb Jones was a shooting guard coming out of HS, he isn't even a big man and can barely dribble without turning it over.

They are called opinions. Everyone will have different ones no matter what the subject is. We’re all different. You’re going to be ok if someone disagrees with you some, I promise.

You said Buffalo didnt have good shooters when they had 4 guys who shot over 35%.
I wish we had shooters so bad.
Hell our best three point shooter shoots 35%.

I said they didn't have exceptional shooters. And, that's true. Do you understand what "exceptional" means?
